Brian D. Pirie is an experienced investment professional with a background in public and private equity investing. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager at Reade Street since 2017, Brian focuses on long-only public markets investing, managing a portfolio of 12 to 20 high conviction ideas. Prior to this role, Brian was a Principal at Sansome Partners from 2008 to 2016, and an Associate at the same firm from 2004 to 2007, where responsibilities included direct public and private equity investing. Brian began a career in investment banking as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Technology, Media & Telecom Group from 2003 to 2004. Brian holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Engineering from Queen's University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
