Stephen Barnes

Stephen Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Stephen is currently the Vice President of Shared Services and Chief Financial Officer at Reading Rock Inc since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Finn Corporation from July 2014 to November 2022. In 2014, they briefly owned their own company called Stephen E. Barnes, CPA, CGMA, CM&AA. From 2007 to 2013, they were the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at DRT Holdings, Inc. Stephen also owned Stephen E Barnes, CPA from 2006 to 2007. Lastly, they held the position of VP-Finance, Administration, and Human Resources of Gas Turbine Components Division at Heroux Devtek from 1988 to 2006. Before that, they began their career as an Audit Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co from 1985 to 1988.

Stephen Barnes earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati College of Business Administration in 1985. Stephen also attended and graduated from Walnut Hills High School. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications as a Chartered Global Management Accountant in 2012, a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor in 2011, and a Certified Public Accountant in 1988.
