Mario Vasilescu

Mario Vasilescu has a diverse range of work experience. Mario co-founded and worked as the CEO of Readocracy.com since January 2019. Mario co-founded Rewordly Inc. in 2014 and worked there until November 2018. As a partner at ELEMMENT from April 2013 to July 2015, they focused on digital agency projects. Mario also worked as a Digital and Innovation Project Lead at BPI group from October 2013 to May 2014. Before that, they worked on content development, strategy, and design at BPI Institute for Leadership from January 2013 to July 2013. Mario has worked as a freelancer since September 2010, offering services in graphic design, photography, and creative writing. Mario also lectured on critical and creative thinking as a Lesson Plan For an Open Mind lecturer from February 2009 to February 2011. In addition, Mario has won first place in the Deloitte iQuest Challenge: Social Media in 2012 with their proposal for a social media platform. Mario held leadership roles in Engineers Without Borders - UOIT Chapter from March 2010 to April 2012, serving as Vice President of Outreach and Vice President of Operations. Mario won first place in the Focus 2040 competition in 2012, where they and their partner proposed a gamification-based intranet platform for entrepreneurial workforce development. Mario also interned at Renault Technologie Roumanie from May 2011 to August 2011, focusing on perceived quality analysis.

From 2007 to 2012, Mario Vasilescu attended Ontario Tech University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering and Management degree. Mario specialized in Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering during their time there.
