Steve Edwards

Steve Edwards has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Steve retired from CoxHealth in 2023 where they served as the President and CEO, responsible for the strategic direction and daily operations of the organization. Steve also held the position of Executive Vice President/COO at CoxHealth, overseeing the daily operations of the integrated healthcare system. Before joining CoxHealth, Steve held various roles, including Senior Vice President Hospital Services, at the same organization. Additionally, they have also worked as an Elite Advisor at Healthcare IT Leaders and as a Chief Strategy Officer at Journeys Metabolic.

Steve Edwards has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, which they obtained between 1988 and 1990. Following this, they pursued a Fellowship in Healthcare Administration at Baylor University Medical Center from 1990 to 1991. Prior to these, they completed their undergraduate studies at Drury University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a B.S. in Political Science, Philosophy, and Communications.
