Senior Tools Programmer at Ready At Dawn

Noah Johnson began their work experience in 2004 as a Computer Repair Technician at Thomas Alarm Systems, where they maintained company computers and network. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Game Design Instructor at ID Tech: Northwestern University, teaching level design theory and Unreal Engine 3 editor. In 2011, they were a Contract Game Designer at MathZee, focusing on level design for the game Math Shapes. In 2012, they worked as a Game Designer at The Field Museum of Natural History, designing and programming the educational game TreeBit. In the same year, they also worked as an Adjunct Faculty in Game Development at Columbia College Chicago. From 2010 to 2015, they held various roles at InContext Solutions, including Unity Developer, Technical Artist, and Lead Technical Artist, overseeing tools development and asset pipeline. Finally, since 2016, they have been a Senior Tools Programmer at Ready At Dawn Studios, where they have played a primary role in developing various tools and workflows to improve artist efficiency.

Noah Johnson attended Columbia College Chicago from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Arts and Media/Game Development. In January 2010, they obtained a certification as a Certified Core Competent from McCarthy Technologies, Inc.
