Jim Powers is the current Director of Implementation for State & Commercial at Ready Computing. Jim has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on project management for the past 10 years. Jim has a proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects, as evidenced by their work history.
Prior to joining Ready Computing, Jim was the EMR Implementation Program/Project Manager at Healthlink Advisors from January 2019 to February 2020. In this role, they were assigned to an implementation project that was 18 months behind schedule. Jim was able to successfully turn the project around and get it back on track by establishing new processes and tracking mechanisms. Jim also provided numerous recommendations and best practices for the new project organization and project planning. In addition, Jim coordinated the Project Management team and provided routine escalations to the client Executive Sponsors and Project Executive Steering Committee. Jim was also responsible for building a new project timeline and project plan for completion of the implementation. Lastly, for areas that were missing project management staffing, Jim stepped in as needed to coordinate testing activities, Scrum and SWAT team meetings, and revenue cycle testing coordination.

Jim Powers has a degree in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University and is certified in PMP Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and ITIL Foundation from the APM Group.
They work with Jake Pugh - General Counsel, Kate Skrocki - Director of Software Development, and Todd Johnson - VP of Product Development. Their manager is Michael Larocca, Founder & CEO.
