Rainer Selvet has extensive experience in the field of 3D modeling, animation, and visual effects. Rainer began their career as a freelance 3D modeler, animator, and VFX supervisor in 2009, specializing in creating 3D models, animation, and motion graphics. Rainer also developed efficient workflow and rendering pipelines, while taking on projects such as visual effects, compositing, matchmoving, and 3D simulation as a generalist. From 2013 to 2015, Rainer worked at Tartu Art School, where they were responsible for creating and teaching a course on the basics of the Blender Game Engine. In 2014, they co-founded Ready Player Me, a cross-game avatar platform for the metaverse, where they took on the role of Co-Founder and CTO. The company has gained significant recognition, with more than 4,000 companies using their avatars, and having raised $72M in funding from prominent investors.
Rainer Selvet attended TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Systems Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Pärnu Koidula Gümnasium, focusing on Mathematics and Physics. No specific degree was mentioned for their secondary education.
