Raman Ravi has extensive work experience spanning over three decades. They started their career as a QA contractor at Taos Moutain Software in 1992. They then moved to TIBCO Finance Technology, where they worked as a Senior Software QA Engineer for ten years, managing all aspects of testing and contributing to design specifications and enhancements.
In 2004, Raman joined Vhayu Technologies, which was later acquired by Thomson Reuters. As a Senior Manager, they built and managed a QA team and played a key role in all aspects of the product lifecycle, including design, testing, support, release, and project and product management. Raman's automation efforts resulted in a 95% automated testing rate and quicker release cycles.
From 2009 to 2012, Raman worked at Thomson Reuters as a Director of QA. They managed a geo-diversified QA team responsible for developing a product that provided Big Data Storage and Analytics for financial markets. They were involved in project and product management across multiple groups, utilizing proprietary technology and Cassandra.
In 2015, Raman joined CIG Insurance as a Senior Program Manager and Technical Program Manager - QA. They led the Portals program and were responsible for developing the QA group by identifying appropriate roles and hiring for them. Raman also managed the technical aspects of test automation.
Raman's career then took them to the U.S. Census Bureau, where they were a Supervisor in IT from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Raman holds a position as a Technical Project Manager at B-Yond, where they started in 2021.
Recently in 2021, Raman also started work as a Technical Project Manager at Reailize, a business partner to major Telcos and Enterprises globally. They focus on driving transformation, revolutionizing network operations and validation, and delivering business outcomes.
Throughout their career, Raman has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills in project and program management and QA. They have experience in various industries, including finance, insurance, and technology.
Raman Ravi has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering, which was obtained from Utah State University. Prior to that, Ravi completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Osmania University.
