Marie-Josée Lachance has extensive work experience in various industries. Marie-Josée is currently the Chief Strategic Partnerships at REAL by FAKE. Previously, they worked at Desjardins as a Coach for Exportation États-Unis I Start-up en résidence. Marie-Josée also served as a Consultant for the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec, where they focused on the film industry and content export. Prior to that, they worked at My Company, primarily in business development and financing, and also as a Digital Media Producer. Marie-Josée was a member of the MAPLE Business Council, promoting bilateral investment and trade between Canada and the U.S. In addition, they had roles at Management Encore as a Digital Media Producer, Centre Phi in business development, inpowr in strategic partnerships in California, MASSIVart in strategic partnerships in California, and PRIX NUMIX as the Director of NUMIX Awards.

Marie-Josée Lachance obtained a Baccalaureat in Études Françaises from Université de Montréal from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf from 1989 to 1992, and Pensionnat du Saint-Nom-de-Marie from 1983 to 1988.
