Patrick Hickey

Patrick Hickey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wetland and wildlife ecology, project management, and environmental regulation. Currently serving as the Head Coach for Real Colorado Soccer since August 2023, Patrick has also held a long-term position as a Sr. Biologist and Project Manager at Jacobs since October 2016, focusing on NEPA compliance and environmental mitigation efforts. Previous roles include Project Manager and Wetland Ecologist at the Colorado Department of Transportation, where oversight of NEPA clearances was key, and Restoration Ecologist/Policy Analyst at Tamarisk Coalition, where sustainable ecological restoration policies were researched. Patrick's career began at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection as a Sr. Environmental Specialist, and formal education includes a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Policy & Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies/Economics from Stockton University.
