Andrew Lis

Andrew Lis has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew is currently working as the Director of Economics and Data Analytics at the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Economist for the Government of British Columbia from May 2018 to June 2022. Andrew also founded Whisky Jack Capital in March 2013 and worked as a Founder/Quant until October 2020. Andrew has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Altus Group, specializing in Economic Consulting, from January 2017 to May 2018, and as a Consultant in Commercial Appraisal from February 2016 to January 2017. Additionally, Andrew has gained experience as a Market Analyst at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) from March 2015 to February 2016, and as the Principal of Economic Consulting at REconomics from April 2013 to February 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Jozsa Management & Economics from April 2014 to February 2015, and as a Draftsman + Designer at M. Lis Associates from September 2003 to February 2015. Furthermore, Andrew worked as an AutoCAD Draftsman at The AME Consulting Group Ltd for a brief period from May 2014 to July 2014, and as an Electrical Draftsman at L.G. Shannon Engineering from March 2005 to September 2013.

Andrew Lis has a diverse education history. Andrew first obtained a Bachelor of Arts - Honours (B.A. Hon.) degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University, where they studied from 2005 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Economics at the University of Ottawa, completing their studies between 2011 and 2013.
