Richard Birgel

Richard Birgel has over 20 years of experience in the executive search and recruiting industry. In 1998, they joined The Liberty Group as a Recruiter and quickly progressed to the role of Senior Recruiter. In 2001, they founded Real Estate Executive Search, Inc., which specializes in executive search for the real estate management, development, and construction industries. As President of the company, Richard leads a team that provides executive search services across various functional areas such as operations, property management, accounting, finance, IT, marketing, and acquisitions/dispositions.

Richard Birgel completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Davidson College from 1982 to 1986. Richard then pursued further education at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Real Estate from 1987 to 1989.
