Dave Popp

Dave Popp is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate finance, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager at U.S. Bank since April 2019, where Dave is a senior originator for the Chicago team. Popp has also held prominent leadership roles in the Real Estate Lenders Association, including Chapter President from June 2021 to June 2023 and Chapter Vice President from June 2020 to June 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at PNC from April 2014 to April 2019, where responsibilities encompassed evaluating credit worthiness and managing new facilities, and a similar role at Bank of America from December 2005 to April 2014, where underwriting of various property types was a key focus. Earlier in Dave's career, a position as Senior Credit Analyst at New Century Bank contributed to foundational expertise. Popp holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and participated in a study abroad program at the University of Newcastle in August 2002.
