Laura Hurst

Laura Hurst possesses extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems, having served as Lead GIS Data Engineer at ReportAll USA from August 2020 to March 2024, specializing in ArcPy and Python programming, alongside numerous other skills. Previous roles include GIS Data Engineer and Contracted Data Engineer, where expertise in databases and data acquisition was demonstrated. Laura's background also includes volunteer work at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, where digitization of site maps and artifact management were key responsibilities, and bartending at Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, focusing on customer service. Additionally, an internship at Ohio History Connection involved cataloging and managing artifact inventories. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and a certificate in Remote Sensing and Earth Observation from Penn State University, both expected to be completed in May 2024.
