Don Walters has over 35 years of work experience in the software engineering industry. Don began their career in 1981 as a Manager at STC Computer Research. Don then moved to AIDA Corporation in 1984 as an Architect and Manager. In 1988, they were hired as an Architect and Manager at Teradyne Corporation. Don then joined Zuken-Redac, Inc. in 1992 as a Systems Architect. In 1996, they were hired by Cadence Design Systems, Inc. as a Sr. Project Leader, where they developed plans, schedules, and software configuration approaches. In 1999, Don moved to Antrim Design Systems, Inc. as a Developer and Manager of R&D, and they continued to manage the Antrim team when Cadence acquired the company in 2002. In 2005, they were hired by Synopsys, Inc. as an R&D Architect and Developer, and they worked on the Execution Manager and Verdi GUIs. Finally, in 2015, Don joined Real Intent as a Senior Software Engineer.
Don Walters earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from San Jose State University between 1977 and 1978. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from San Jose State University between 1967 and 1972. No additional certifications were obtained.
