Lucas Machado

RDC Product Owner at Real Intent

Lucas Machado has extensive work experience in the field of computing and microelectronics. From 2019 to the present, they have been working as a RDC Product Owner, R&D Staff Engineer, and Senior R&D Engineer for Real Intent. From 2015 to 2019, they were a PhD in Computing, advised by Prof. Dr. Jordi Cortadella, at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Digital Integrated Circuits Designer at CEITEC S.A., where they prototyped RF ASICs to FPGAs and developed tests and debug of digital integrated circuits prototypes. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Master in Microelectronics at UFRGS, where they worked on the SYNAPTIC EU project, developing a remapping logic synthesis tool with a standard cell library. In 2010, they were a Trainee at Digital IC Design for the IC Brasil Program at NSCAD Microeletronica. In 2009, they were a Programmable Logic Developer at Datacom, developing SDH interface cards using VHDL in Xilinx and Altera FPGAs.

Lucas Machado has an extensive educational background. Lucas graduated from Colégio Madre Bárbara in 2005 with a high school degree. Lucas then attended Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2006 to 2010, earning an Engineer degree in Computer Engineering. In 2009, they completed an exchange program at Arizona State University in Microelectronics. Lucas then went back to Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2011 to 2013, earning a Master's degree in Microelectronics. Finally, they attended Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2015 to 2019, earning a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera in 2018 and CEITEC ePassport Module, CTC21001, v1.0 (supporting BAC) from the Certification Authority for IT Security in Norway.
