Omkar Ubale has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Omkar started their career in 2016 as an Application Development Analyst at Accenture, where they worked with a development team to design and develop complex C++ applications on Linux servers for telecommunication operations. Omkar also managed a code repository on Git branches and used Jenkins for code compilation and deployment.

In 2021, Omkar joined Lattice Semiconductor as a Verification Engineering Intern, where they gained experience in verification engineering.

Later in 2021, they joined Synopsys Inc as a Senior Research and Development Engineer, working as part of the Design Compiler (DC) team. In this role, they developed optimizing algorithms for different HDL designs and constraints related to power, timing, and area. Omkar also contributed to the development of a next-generation DC sequential mapper, enabling faster optimization of sequential cells in large designs using cell signatures and BDDs. Omkar'scontributions were recognized by the group director, and they created regressions for mapping and unmapping of sequential cells and synchronous latches based on customer requests.

Omkar Ubale completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2012 to 2016. Omkar then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University from 2019 to 2021.
