Vice President of Engineering and Program Management at Real Time Companies

John Michaylo has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. John began their career in 1980 at Hughes Aircraft Company, where they served as a Principal Engineer and was responsible for software development of vehicle communication systems. John later joined Sony Trans Com as a Sr. Manager of Engineering, leading the team in developing streaming digital video-on-demand systems for the air transport industry.

In 2001, John joined Rockwell Collins as the Director of Engineering. John then moved on to Eclipse Aviation in 2004, where they served as the Director of Avionics & Electrical Engineering, leading the department in designing and certifying advanced light jet avionics systems.

John's next role was as the Vice President of Engineering at Aviation Communication and Surveillance Systems (ACSS), where they led a team of 100+ engineers in developing safety avionics systems for commercial and military flight operators.

In 2013, John founded their own company, Leaders in Engineering | Project Management, where they served as the Founder and VP of Engineering and Project Management. Additionally, they joined Real Time Companies as the Vice President of Engineering and Program Management, overseeing program proposals, planning, staffing, and engineering process management.

Throughout their career, John demonstrated strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a track record of delivering innovative solutions in the aviation industry.

John Michaylo attended California State University, Fullerton from 1980 to 1986 where they studied Electrical Engineering. John did not obtain a degree during this time. Later, from 1992 to 1996, they attended Western State College of Law and earned a Juris Doctor degree in law.
