Paul Schmitt

Paul Schmitt is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Senior Field Application Engineer for Real-Time Innovations (RTI) since April 2020. Prior to RTI, Paul held the position of Principal Consultant at PSC INC, where innovative solutions for the maple sugaring industry were developed. Previously, Paul spent nearly two decades at Calix, contributing to various leadership roles including Director of Engineering and Director of Development in China Operations, where significant office growth and project management were achieved. Earlier experiences include pivotal engineering roles at C-PORT, Ascom Nexion, and Stratus Computer, demonstrating a robust background in hardware and software integration, embedded systems, and team leadership. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.
