Tim McGuire

Tim McGuire is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and field applications engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Field Applications Engineer at RTI since March 2018, McGuire specializes in connectivity software for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Prior to this role, McGuire held various positions at ADLINK Technology from 2009 to March 2018, contributing significantly to the development of Software Communications Architecture tools. Responsibilities included acting as Product Owner for the Spectra CX modeling tool, employing Agile methodologies, and developing Data Distribution Service tools in Java. Earlier career experiences span roles at Zeligsoft, IBM, Rational, ObjecTime, and Bell Canada, emphasizing technical support, customer interface, and product management. McGuire earned a Bachelor of Computer Science with Highest Honours from Carleton University between 1994 and 1998.
