Jason Forrest

Jason Forrest has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jason started their career as a Boatman/Surf Guide at Salani Surf Resort in 2002 and later became the Founder & Owner of Foundnation Surf School in 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Southeast Sales Representative at NHS Inc. and concurrently served as the Retail Sales Manager at Outer Banks Boarding Company. In 2008, they joined Whitefish Mountain Resort and held multiple positions including Snowboard Instructor, Freestyle Coach, Guide/Naturalist, and Event Production Supervisor. Jason was later promoted to Western Region Sales Representative and then Sales Manager, where they won awards for their performance. In 2016, they became a Board Member and Vice President of The Resort Reservations Association, and also joined the Whitefish Workforce and Affordable Housing Task Force. In 2018, they transitioned to Watermen's Retreat as the Operations Manager and Broker in Charge before moving on to their current role as the Director of Resort Operations at REAL Watersports, which they have held since 2021. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and has been recognized for their contributions in various roles.

Jason Forrest attended East Carolina University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Facilities Management.
