Jafar is a published researcher focused on data-driven systems leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Prior to joining RealBlocks, Jafar served as a senior engineer at both startup and enterprise scales. He has worked across multiple industries including tourism, telecommunications, and E-Government with reputable firms like International Augmented MED, Zain Jordan, and Talahuf Al Emarat (Abu Dhabi) respectively.
In 2018, Jafar won 2nd place in the GIST-TECH-I 2018 competition for his work on augmented reality for the tourism industry, and has acted as a judge for various local startup competitions in Jordan.
Jafar holds a Masters in Computer Science from the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
