Soumya Sengupta

Soumya Sengupta has over 20 years of work experience in the software development field. Currently, Soumya holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at RealDefense since October 2022. Prior to that, Soumya worked as a Senior Software Developer at Harris School Solutions from February 2017 to October 2022. Soumya also served as a Sr. Programmer/Analyst at Quintessential School Systems from January 2006 to February 2017, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Computer in Command from October 2002 to October 2005. Soumya's earliest work experience was at Mechanosoft Solutions, India where they worked as a Software Developer from December 1998 to May 2002.

Soumya Sengupta began their education at RKMV Purulia, where they obtained a High School Diploma from 1984 to 1991. They then attended RKMRC Narendrapur from 1991 to 1993 and earned another High School Diploma. From 1993 to 1994, Soumya studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at St. Paul's College, completing a Bachelor of Science degree. They further pursued higher education at Delhi University from 1995 to 1997, specializing in Computer Applications (Software), and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Soumya received the Microsoft Certified Professional designation from Microsoft in January 2001 and May 2001. The most recent certification obtained was the Microsoft Certified Professional credential from Microsoft in December 2018.
