Alessandro Laterza

Alessandro Laterza has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Alessandro is currently serving as the Head of Sales Italy and Channel at realme, where their primary role is to manage the sales department and increase market share across different channels in Italy. Alessandro is responsible for setting and monitoring business KPIs, analyzing consumer and market behavior, and implementing data-driven strategies for optimal commercial performance.

Prior to their current role, Alessandro worked at Poly (formerly Plantronics) and Huawei Technologies Italia. At Poly, they held the position of Business Development Manager for Internet Service Providers in Southern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, where they were responsible for account management and leading a sales team. Alessandro also served as the Head of Consumer Sales Italy, driving the growth of consumer products and implementing business strategies.

At Huawei Technologies Italia, Alessandro held the role of Product & Sales Director, managing the expansion of the business in the country and establishing partnerships with distributors, resellers, and service providers. Alessandro was also responsible for sales and growth targets.

Earlier in their career, Alessandro worked at NEC Italia as a Product Manager, overseeing product marketing and technical activities, including product development and certification. Alessandro began their career at ST Microelectronics as a Process Engineer.

Throughout their career, Alessandro has demonstrated strong leadership abilities, strategic planning, and business development skills. Alessandro has experience in managing budgets, building and motivating sales teams, and establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Alessandro Laterza obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology (Network System Area) from Cefriel in the period from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, specializing in Fix and Mobile Network, from Politecnico di Milano between 1993 and 2001.
