Andrew McNiel

Andrew McNiel is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in software development, testing, and DevOps. Currently serving as a Sr DevOps Engineer at RealNetworks since 2011, Andrew specializes in automating infrastructure deployment to AWS and designing production release procedures. Previous roles include Software Test Engineer, where Andrew focused on testing automation for video content streaming, and Software Design Engineer in Test, which involved the creation of automation tools for Windows Mobile. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The Evergreen State College and an Associate’s Degree from Renton Technical College, Andrew has a strong foundation in both software engineering and systems administration, complemented by a history of team leadership and project management across multiple technical roles.
