Lara Devgan

Lara Devgan, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Lara is currently the Founder and CEO of Dr. Lara Devgan Scientific Beauty since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Lara Devgan, MD, PLLC since 2013. In 2018, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at RealSelf. Lara has also held positions at New York Presbyterian Hospital as Chief Resident, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery from 2012 to 2013, and as a Plastic Surgery Resident from 2010 to 2012. Lara began their medical career at Columbia University Medical Center as a General Surgery Resident from 2008 to 2010, and as a General Surgery Intern from 2007 to 2008.

Lara Devgan, MD, MPH earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, as well as pre-medical studies, from Yale University in 2001. Lara then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine & Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Biostatistics & Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2007. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Lara attended Harvard-Westlake.
