Kieran Furlong is the CEO & Co-Founder of Realta Fusion, a company focusing on industrial heat and power generation from fusion energy. He is also a Venture Partner at Rabo Food & Agri Innovation Fund and a Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With a background in chemical engineering and an MBA from Stanford University, Kieran has experience in creating a culture of innovation and serving on various boards of directors in the agtech industry. Additionally, he has been involved in founding and partnering with multiple ventures in the technology and agriculture sectors.

Realta Fusion is an early-stage spin-out from the University of Wisconsin-Madison developing the lowest capital and least complex path to commercially competitive fusion energy. We are applying advances in super-conducting materials, plasma physics, and computing power to a simple linear fusion reactor configuration. These advances allow for a much lower capex power plant, utilizing abundant fuel sources to provide a new, zero-carbon source of heat and power.
