Weimin Zeng

Engineering Director at Realtek

Weimin Zeng has a strong background in engineering and architecture design for multimedia SoC chips. Weimin served as an Engineering Director at Realtek Semiconductor Corp. from 2008 to present, where they focused on SoC architecture design, performance-cost tradeoff analysis, and firmware development. Weimin also participated in standardization efforts for video codecs. Prior to that, Weimin worked at Micronas USA, Inc. as a Manager of C-Systems and Architecture from 2006 to 2008. Weimin was responsible for managing and directing the development of C-model framework for video decoders. Before joining Micronas, Weimin worked at WIS Technologies, Inc., where they served as a Member of Technical Staff from 2001 to 2006. In this role, they were involved in algorithms and architecture design for high-definition video decoder SoC chip, as well as developing a golden C-model for various video codecs.

Weimin Zeng completed a Master's degree in Software Engineering at the Institute of Software, Chinese Academy & Science from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, Weimin Zeng obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China, where they studied from 1992 to 1997.
