Bob Sawler

Vice President of Business Development at The Realtime Group

Bob Sawler has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Bob began their career in 1981 at Link Flight Training, where they served as a Senior Principal Engineer. Bob then moved on to VariLite in 1997 as an Embedded Engineer, designing lighting control systems. From 1998 to 2001, Bob worked at Siemens (Efficient Networks) as a Software Director, managing projects and delivering products on schedule.

In 1999, Bob joined Efficient Networks as a Sr. Software Director, where they established and led a core team of software engineers, focusing on integrated voice and data projects. Bob then transitioned to B|Braun in 2002 as an R&D Manager, overseeing the design and implementation of medical devices.

From 2005 to 2008, Bob served as the VP of Engineering and Technology at MultiMedia LED, leading the development of LED technology and creating customizable solutions for clients. Bob then joined Flextronics Medical in 2008 as the Director of Design and Engineering, providing outsourced engineering services to global customers.

In 2014, Bob became the Vice President of Engineering at Valutech Outsourcing, managing cellphone returns processes for major service providers. Bob'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Business Development at The Realtime Group, where they delivered engineering design, development, and testing services.

Additionally, outside of their professional career, Bob and their family co-founded Food For The Soul, a non-profit organization that fights childhood hunger by providing free food and support to local children and families in need.

Bob Sawler earned their BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, where they attended from 1978 to 1981. Later on, they pursued their MSEE, also in Electrical Engineering, at Syracuse University from 1984 to 1987.
