Jill Gandy has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jill started their career as a Histology Assistant at Norman Regional Hospital from 1994 to 1996. Jill then moved on to Baylor University Medical Center, where they worked as a Medical Technologist (AMT) from 2007 to 2009. During their time at Baylor University, they specialized in HLA and was involved in crossmatching organ donors and tissue typing for organ transplants. Jill then joined Arlington Cancer Center as a Medical Technologist (AMT) in 2010. At the center, they served as a laboratory supervisor and gained additional skills in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Flow Cytometry, and Laboratory Information System. Their role at Arlington Cancer Center lasted until 2014. In 2018, Jill became the Quality Assurance Manager at RealTime Laboratories, Inc. Their most recent position is as an Inspection Team Member at the College of American Pathologists, which they started in October 2020.
Jill Gandy, B.S., MT (AMT), completed their Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they studied Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at Oklahoma City Community College from 1993 to 1996.
