Miheer Gummuluru's work experience begins in 2015 when they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University. From September 2015 to January 2016, they were a Teaching Assistant at the same university, responsible for conducting and grading tests, clarifying student doubts, and conducting lab sessions.

In 2016, Miheer had a Software Developer Internship at Avigilon, where they analyzed, tested, and optimized code for Unusual Motion Detection. miheer also developed a C++ based profiling class and tuned the algorithm for the Video Analytics library.

From 2017 to 2021, Miheer worked at ALERT INNOVATION. As an Embedded Software Engineer, they designed and implemented a state machine framework from scratch, reducing debug build time significantly. miheer also built Python prototypes for hardware design approval and wrote multi-threaded drivers for I2C/SPI sensors. Later, as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, they designed and implemented code for transferring and validating totes in the system, achieving a success rate of 99.96%. miheer also ported the C++ state machine framework to Java.

In 2021, Miheer joined WaveSense as a Senior Software Engineer. miheer designed and implemented a fault architecture for software running on autonomous vehicles and created a GUI using Python Flask and JavaScript for user-friendly interaction. miheer analyzed performance hotspots and improved code execution time by optimizing code using Intel Vtune profiler and Intel Advisor.

Their most recent work experience is at Realtime Robotics, Inc., where they are currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer starting in 2022.

Miheer Gummuluru holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Northeastern University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sathyabama University from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Miheer Gummuluru has obtained several certifications.
