James Duck

James Duck currently serves as the Head of Asset Management and Value Add Investment at Realty Income Corporation since November 2021. Previously, James held various positions at British Land from December 2013 to November 2021, including Investment Director, Investment Executive, and Asset Manager, managing a £2bn UK mixed retail portfolio. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director of Shopping Centre Investment at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ) from October 2006 to November 2013, where James provided extensive acquisition and asset management advice. Earlier roles include working as a Surveyor in Lease Advisory at GL Hearn and as an Asset Manager on secondment at Tesco Stores Ltd, focusing on shopping centres and retail warehouse parks. James holds a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management from Kingston University and has a foundational education from Forest School.
