Ryan Ahern has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Ryan started their career as a Carpenter at RM Cochran Corporation in 2000 and later worked as a Surveyor at Otte and Dwyer, Inc. in 2004. In 2005, they joined Kiewit as a Field Engineer, where they performed layout and surveying during the Stone Canyon Water filtration Project. Ryan then completed the Construction Managers and Supervisors Training Program (CMST) at Shawmut Design and Construction, where they gained experience in estimating, project management, and field supervision.
Afterwards, Ryan worked as a Project Manager at Northtimber Associates from 2010 to 2013, overseeing construction projects in both residential and commercial sectors. Ryan was responsible for estimating, contract negotiations, permitting, scheduling, and developing an in-house labor force.
In 2013, Ryan became a Production Manager at G.W. Savage Corporation, where they managed multiple renovation projects in Vermont, coordinating trades and scheduling projects.
Ryan's experience also includes working as a Superintendent at Breadloaf Design and Construction from 2014 to 2022, where they supervised commercial projects and ensured adherence to schedules, safety, and quality control.
From 2019 to 2022, Ryan served as the Director of Safety and Training at Bread Loaf, overseeing all field-related activities, fostering front-line leadership and staff teams development, and implementing carpentry training programs.
In 2022, Ryan transitioned to LOWE'S REAL ESTATE AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, LLC as a Real Estate Salesperson before joining ReArch Company as the Director of Field Operations. In their current role, they manage all aspects of ReArch's construction field operations, including staff assignments and oversight, safety culture, career development, implementation of standard operating procedures, work planning, on-time project delivery, cost monitoring, quality control, and client relations.
Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in construction management, leadership, safety, quality control, and client satisfaction.
Ryan Ahern has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Ryan also pursued non-credit Project Management courses at the University of Vermont. Ryan has studied Sustainability Studies at the Boston Architectural College and completed their high school education in Carpentry Construction at the North Shore Technical School. Additionally, Ryan holds a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from the State of Vermont.
