Balaji Mani

Balaji Mani began their work experience as a Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in June 2013 and held this position until August 2017. Balaji then joined Willis Towers Watson as a Wind Specialist in September 2017 and was later promoted to Senior Wind Specialist in April 2019. Balaji worked at the company until January 2021. From January 2021 to April 2022, they worked at RMS as a Senior Modeler and then as a Manager from January to July 2022. Currently, they are employed at Reask as a Senior Catastrophe Model Developer since July 2022. Balaji has recently been promoted to the position of Lead Catastrophe Model Developer starting from May 2023.

Balaji Mani earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from St Peter's College of Engineering and Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Technology degree in Earth System Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 2011 to 2013.
