Sumit Soman

Sumit Soman has extensive experience in the field of software testing and automation. Sumit is currently working as an Automation Test Lead at ReasonLabs since May 2022.

Prior to this, Sumit worked at Xebia as a Lead Consultant from October 2014 till March 2023. In this role, they were responsible for building automation frameworks based on client requirements and suggesting suitable technologies for better utilization. Sumit also analyzed project requirements to understand the testing effort involved.

Sumit also worked at Emirates as a Senior Technical Consultant from February 2018 to March 2023. During their time there, they developed automation frameworks for web and API testing using technologies such as Serenity, Java, Selenium, Maven, Cucumber, and Rest Assured. Sumit also conducted white box testing, data validation testing, and exploration for ML models using Pandas, Numpy, and plotted data using Matlabplot for analysis.

Before Emirates, Sumit worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aricent Group from January 2011 to October 2014. In this role, they were responsible for understanding testing efforts, developing test plans, evaluating and communicating test coverage, and test results.

Sumit Soman attended IGCE for an unspecified period of time. From 2008 to 2010, they studied at DAV Sector 8 Chandigarh. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2010, they attended Little Flower Convent School. No specific degrees or fields of study were mentioned for any of these education experiences.
