Dave Sunia

Dave Sunia is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in family support and coaching. Currently serving as a Family Specialist II at Rebekah Children's Services since February 2020, Dave provides mentorship and advocacy for families aiming for safety, permanency, and well-being. Previous roles include Family Specialist I, where concentrated efforts were directed towards specialized behavioral treatments for youth. Additional experience encompasses coaching youth basketball for South Bay Scholars, driving for Uber and Lyft, and serving as an Associate Customer Service Engineer at Diebld. Dave began a career in customer service and safety as a Security Guard at San Jose Bar & Grill, pursued real estate appraisal training, and has volunteered in youth math tutoring. Dave holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from California State University-East Bay and an Associate's degree in General Education from Chabot College.
