Taryn Manias

Taryn Manias has a diverse work experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. Taryn worked at Rebel.com from January 2014 to October 2020, starting as the Director of Marketing & Communications and later becoming the Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Taryn was responsible for marketing and communications, PR, community relations, and business development, including planning, strategy, training, and execution.

Prior to Rebel.com, Taryn worked as a Principal at Smash PR from October 2010 to January 2014. Taryn also served as the Manager of Alumni Relations and Communications at Ashbury College from August 2011 to November 2013.

Taryn's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Publicity and Marketing at McArthur & Company from July 2004 to March 2009. In this role, they were responsible for all PR and publicity in-house, managing multiple author tours, book releases, and events. Taryn also built strong relationships with members of the Canadian press and executed marketing campaigns.

Taryn Manias attended McMaster University from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
