Dan Bates

Dan Bates has 17 years of experience in the energy industry. Dan began their career in 1998 as a Senior Auditor at Silver Altman. In 2002, they joined BP and held various roles, including Commercial Manager - International Gas and Power, Planning and Performance Manager - Gas Trading and LNG, Strategy and Planning Manager - LNG Trading, UK Financial Controller and European Credit Manager - Solar, and Financial and Risk Controller for BP Chemicals Trading. In 2019, Dan became the Chief Executive Officer of Rebel Energy UK.

Dan Bates attended Lancaster University from 1995 to 1998, graduating with a BA Hons 2:1 Triple Major in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
