Richard Sussman is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in venture capital and business development. As a Founding Strategic Partner at Rebel Fund since September 2019, Richard co-founded a $75MM US seed fund that focuses on leveraging data science to invest in Y Combinator startups, backed by comprehensive analysis of over 30,000 data points. Previously, Richard co-founded Nordic Eye Venture Capital and Nordic Eye Sales Accelerator, managing a ~$100M growth fund from 2015 to 2019. Richard has held leadership roles at Gracenote (VP/Head of Business Development & Sales), IPG (SVP/US Director - Business Development), and The Nielsen Company (VP/Practice Head - Digital Media & Entertainment). Richard's entrepreneurial journey includes founding Gorilla Exchange, Inc., and co-founding QuickFlicks.com. Richard's academic background includes studies at Harvard Business School, Saybrook University, Franklin University Switzerland, and the University of Tübingen, with a focus on German language and EU economics and politics.
