Gabe Hernandez

Gabe Hernandez has a range of experience in the aerospace and technology industries. Gabe is currently the co-founder and CTO of Rebel Space Technologies, a role they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, Gabe worked at Slingshot Aerospace starting in October 2017. In this role, they were a Computer Vision Engineer, responsible for developing orbital mechanics simulations and collaborating on drone-based RF sensing projects. Gabe also had an internship at Slingshot Aerospace during the Los Angeles TechStars Startup Accelerator Program, where they helped develop geospatial algorithms and trained machine learning models for object detection in satellite imagery.

Gabe Hernandez pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from 2014 to 2016 at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Following this, they continued their education at UC Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2019, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics as well.
