Alex Balag

Alex Balag has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Alex is currently the Chief Operating Officer at RebelDot, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Operations Manager at RebelDot from September 2018 to September 2022. Alex also worked as a Delivery Manager at RebelDot from April 2017 to August 2018.

Before joining RebelDot, Alex took a sabbatical from January 2016 to March 2017.

Earlier in their career, Alex worked at Softvision starting from 2007. Alex held various positions including Project Manager from October 2012 to December 2015, Lead Software Engineer from September 2010 to September 2012, and Software Engineer from June 2007 to August 2010. During their time at Softvision, they managed projects of varying complexity and size, led cross-functional teams, and developed high-traffic web applications using the .NET framework.

Alex Balag received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca. Alex attended this university from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed high school at Liviu Rebreanu National College from 1999 to 2003, majoring in Mathematics and Informatics. Additionally, in July 2012, Alex obtained the Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
