James Cruz

James Cruz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public-private partnerships (PPP) and project finance. Currently serving as a PPP Expert at Rebel since September 2018 and as a Finance Catalyst at GET.invest since July 2021, James focuses on mobilizing investments in renewable energy for developing countries. James has held critical roles at the Asian Development Bank as a Project Finance Specialist, providing financial modelling and project structuring support, and has worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in PPP and project finance. Previous positions include research support at the Earth Security Group and a Project Development Officer role at the Department of Finance in the Philippines, where James contributed to the largest approved PPP project to date. James's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Infrastructure Investment and Finance from UCL, supplemented by undergraduate studies in Management from Ateneo de Manila University.
