Laura Lewis has over 20 years of experience in film and television development, production, strategy, sales, and financing. Laura is the Founder and CEO of Rebelle Media, launched in 2018, which focuses on telling untold stories centered on and for women using the power of storytelling and creative business experience. Laura worked as a Film Finance Agent at Creative Artists Agency from 2010 to 2017, where they packaged, structured financing, and sold distribution rights to feature films. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Consultant at Double L Media & Strategy on entertainment space and ways to move traditional businesses forward. Laura was an intern at Google's Media and Entertainment Sales and Marketing Group in 2007 and worked as a Director of Development at Edward Saxon Productions from 2004 to 2007. Laura also worked as a Creative Executive at Twentieth Century Fox in 2006, and as a Marketing Assistant at Focus Features in 2003, where they assisted in creating and implementing marketing campaigns supporting film releases. In 2002, they worked as a Development Assistant at DreamWorks SKG.

Laura Lewis earned a BA in Political Science from Duke University in 1999. Laura then pursued an MBA from Harvard Business School, specializing in Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship, which they completed in 2009.
