Tameisha Brunson

Tameisha brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her expertise includes health insurance claims processing, underwriting, full cycle billing and reimbursement, and medical coding and auditing. Tameisha led a team of 15 coders on various multi-specialty projects for nearly 6 years. She was also an adjunct instructor for a medical billing and coding program which prepared students for the coding certification exam.

Tameisha began training with the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2008. Upon completion, she obtained the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification. Tameisha went on to receive credentials in both Inpatient and Risk Adjustment coding along with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration. Her memberships include AHIMA, American Academy of Professional Coders, and American Trauma Society.
