Saurabh Patel

Saurabh Patel serves as the Medical Director at Florida Retina Center since June 2006, holding the position of Chief Medical Officer. In addition, Saurabh Patel has been a Board of Trustee member at Community School of Naples since June 2015 and a member of the Board of Advisors at Rebion since June 2012, where responsibilities include advising on new technologies for pediatric vision screening. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Programmer at Andersen Consulting from 1991 to 1993. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (1995-1999), an Ophthalmology Training & Fellowship focused on Eye Disease/Retina from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2000-2004), and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University (1993-1995). Saurabh Patel completed undergraduate studies at Cornell University (1987-1991).
