Eric Keipper

Head Of Engineering - Project Re:car at Re:Build Manufacturing

Eric Keipper has a diverse range of work experience in the automotive industry. Eric is currently the Head of Engineering - Project Re:Car at Re:Build Manufacturing. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Engineering at ELMS: Electric Last Mile Solutions, where they were responsible for developing a top-notch engineering team. Eric also served as the Executive Director of Vehicle Integration at ELMS.

Before joining ELMS, Eric worked as the Technical Director of Mobility at Pratt Miller and as the Vehicle Integration Director at Karma Automotive LLC. In these roles, they oversaw various teams and directed vehicle level functional objectives.

Eric also has a significant tenure at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they held multiple roles, including Vehicle Integration Responsible, Architecture Vehicle Integration Manager, and Engineering Supervisor for Noise, Vibration, & Harshness. Their responsibilities included design execution, validation, and integrating NVH solutions into trucks, SUVs, and powertrain systems.

Eric began their career at General Motors as a Plant Vehicle & Master Red X Engineer. Additionally, Eric has experience outside of the automotive industry, having served as the Head Coach for the Rochester United Varsity Hockey team at Rochester Community Schools.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, team leadership, and integration of various aspects of vehicle development and manufacturing.

Eric Keipper earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Eric later pursued a Master's of Science in Operations from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001. In 2002, Keipper attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they obtained their Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Economics and Operations, graduating in 2006.
