Ian Tibbetts

Ian Tibbetts has a diverse work experience in software engineering and engineering management. Ian is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Re:Build Manufacturing since July 2022. Before that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Cushion from March 2022 to June 2022 and as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2020 to February 2022. Ian also worked as a Software Engineer at ShopVue from April 2017 to March 2020, where they developed cross-platform applications using ASP.NET. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at McMaster-Carr from May 2015 to April 2017, where they worked on automating cybersecurity monitoring and Windows Server administration. Ian also integrated a new REST API into the .NET code base. Ian started their career as an Astrophysics Research Assistant, Interlibrary Loan Student Supervisor, and Physics/Computer Science Tutor at Colby College from June 2014 to May 2015 and from September 2013 to May 2015, respectively. Ian also worked as an Interlibrary Loan Student Worker at Colby College from September 2010 to May 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as a Junior Engineer at Ferrite Microwave Technologies, LLC from July 2011 to September 2012, where they developed a Windows Forms application to automate testing workflows.

Ian Tibbetts attended Phillips Exeter Academy from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained their high school diploma. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Colby College from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Ian also obtained certifications in "Programming in C#" from Microsoft in May 2018, and "Querying Microsoft SQL Server" from Microsoft in June 2017.
