Michael Kelly's work experience includes positions at various companies in chronological order. Michael started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame in 2013. In 2014, they completed a Supply Chain/Operations Internship at GE.
From 2015 to 2020, Michael worked at Ford Motor Company in various roles, including Global Business Associations, Mobility Innovation Lead, Powertrain Planning Analyst, V2X Connectivity Strategy Analyst, and Aftertreatment Systems Engineer.
In 2020, they co-founded Gaia AI and served as an Advisor. In 2021, they joined Contrary as a Research Fellow, Scout, and Venture Partner, where they researched and wrote about high-growth private companies.
Later in 2021, Michael worked at Fifth Wall as a Summer Associate in the Climate Tech Fund. Michael also held a Business Operations role at Climate Club from September 2021 to May 2022.
Most recently, in 2022, Michael joined Re:Build Manufacturing as the Commercial Projects Lead for Project Re:Car.
Michael Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Michael then pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School from 2020 to 2022.
