Penny Neisen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 with roles as an Undergraduate Supplimental Instructor and Undergraduate Research Assistant at North Dakota State University. Penny then worked as an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks Coffee Company from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued their education and worked as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from 2003 to 2010.

Penny's professional career began in the chemical industry, where they worked at PPG Industries as a Senior Refinish Color Scientist from 2014 to 2016. Penny also held positions as a Six Sigma Analyst and Six Sigma Customer Team Analyst, utilizing their technical background and communication skills to achieve results.

From 2016 to 2020, Penny worked as the Consulting Properties Manager for the Church of the Saviour, managing operations budgets and overseeing large-scale capital improvement projects.

Currently, Penny is a Business Process Analyst - Digital Team at Re:Build Manufacturing, focusing on business data and process analysis for robotic process automation.

Throughout their career, Penny has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, process improvement, project management, and training delivery.

Penny Neisen completed their education in a chronological manner. Penny obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from North Dakota State University, with minors in Biochemistry and Horticulture, from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Study Abroad program in Japanese Studies at Minnesota State University-Akita, Japan, from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Normandale Community College in 1996-1997 for general education, without receiving a degree.

Penny later pursued a Master of Science degree in Organic and Organometallic Chemistry at Case Western Reserve University from 2003 to 2010.

Apart from their formal education, Penny has obtained several additional certifications.
