Sean Henson

Program Manager at Re:Build Manufacturing

Sean Henson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sean began their career at Penn Student Agencies in 2008, where they worked as a Reel Scoops Associate. In 2009, they served as an Office Assistant for the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Cognitive Neuroscience. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an NBIC Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, in 2011, they joined Moody's Analytics as a Research Intern, focusing on the relationship between sovereign bond yields and fiscal space. Sean then returned to Penn Student Agencies in 2011 as a First Services Associate and later became a First Services Shift Supervisor.

In 2012, Henson joined Cornerstone Research as an Analyst, where they collaborated with expert witnesses on analyses related to business lawsuits. Sean also led teams of analysts in various class-action securities lawsuits. Henson then moved on to MIT Sloan School of Management in 2015, where they served as a Leaders for Global Operations Fellow until 2017.

Starting in 2017, Henson joined Ascent Aerospace as a Product Manager, handling material and tooling solutions. Sean later became the Global Product Manager for Composites and Additive Manufacturing, responsible for overseeing these product lines globally. In 2023, they assumed the position of Director, Preproduction for the company.

Henson's most recent position is with Re:Build Manufacturing, where they are currently employed as a Program Manager as of July 2023.

Sean Henson has a strong educational background with degrees from prestigious institutions. Sean completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science and Engineering (BSE) in Economics and Materials Science respectively from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008-2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), during 2015-2017. Simultaneously, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
